On Friday 5th February 2027, we are once again closing the road outside our Drop In centre in Knightsbridge, London, to sleep on the street for one night.

Whilst our guests face the elements night after night, try to bed down at risk of violence, try to sleep with street lights shining in their eyes, and without the prospect of a hearty breakfast, a shower and a return to 'home'. We will experience just a fraction of what it really means to sleep rough, because most importantly we know this is just 'a challenge' and not our every day reality. Nonetheless, doing this together for one night shows solidarity, builds empathy, and raises awareness of what members of our community are living through.

As ever, this challenge will also raise funds for the work we do, to be there for our guests every step of the way, empower them to build confidence, make friends, feel they belong, and to ultimately achieve and sustain safe housing and move towards supporting themselves.

At a time when it can feel like there are so many problems in the world that we can't solve, make this the year that you do something relatively easy that will make an enormous difference to the people who need it most.
